End-User Licence Agreement

Licence grant

Subject to these terms and any applicable subscription, Weagle grants the authorised user a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use AyaScope on the single registered computer associated with the licence key. The software is licensed, not sold. Ownership of the software and its source code is not transferred.

Trial, Free and paid access

An eligible new machine may receive one seven-day Premium trial. A paid annual seat is bound to one registered computer. When a trial or subscription ends, Premium features are disabled and the available Free feature set may remain accessible. Reinstallation or identifier manipulation does not create another trial.

Permitted interoperability

User-installed plugins remain separate third-party software governed by their own licences. AyaScope does not distribute HyperSpy, RosettaSciIO or other optional plugins unless expressly stated. The user is responsible for installing and licensing them lawfully.

Restrictions

You may not share or resell a key, activate one seat on multiple machines, bypass licensing or update verification, remove proprietary notices, distribute modified copies, or use the software or service to attack systems. Rights available under mandatory law, including lawful interoperability rights, are not restricted.

Scientific use and data

AyaScope is an analysis aid. Calibration, segmentation, indexing, quantification, phase assignment and generated reports require review by a qualified user against source data and appropriate standards. You retain ownership of your specimen data and results. Local files are not uploaded merely by opening or analysing them; online activation, update, support and consent services process only the data described in the Privacy Policy.

Updates, warranty and liability

Updates may correct defects, improve compatibility or address security. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the software is provided without warranties not expressly stated and Weagle is not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Mandatory consumer rights and liability that cannot legally be excluded remain unaffected.

Termination and governing law

This licence ends if you materially breach it and do not cure the breach where cure is required. On termination, paid functionality may be disabled. Florida law governs this agreement without displacing mandatory protections or jurisdiction rights available to consumers in their home country.
